The Barmouth, Castlerock

The remains of a narrow gauge railway track used to quarry stone used to build the moles at the the Barmouth. The original track ran right across the river, from Carnanee quarry on the Portstewart side to the other side at Castlerock. The moles were originally built between 1879 and 1888, later rebuilt between 1929 and 1942.
