Winter at Cave Hill

High above Belfast is Cave Hill Country Park with the beautiful Belfast Castle in the heart of it. From above you have spectacular views across all of Belfast and as far as the Mourne Mountains which you can see in the distance with a cloud inversion. Cave Hill is named after the 5 caves in the cliff faces and its most prominent feature is McArt's Fort, an ancient rath or fort which stands some 1,200 feet above sea level
