Mulafossur Waterfall, Gasadalur

To the west of the island of Vagar lies the tiny village of Gasadalur 'Goose Valley'. Surrounded by high mountains, Árnafjall (722m) to the north, and Eysturtindur (715m) to the east. Until a tunnel was blasted through the mountain in 2004 it was almost inaccessible, cut off from the rest of the island with the only access being over the mountain by foot. Mulafossur Waterfall is like something out of a fairy tale falling from the lush green fields into the ocean below. This view is taken from the lower perspective after climbing down the world's steepest and dodgiest steps.
